
I have been told this is my best photo. So not sure why it wasn’t Pocky Pic number 1, but here it is, better late than never.
It was taken in Leazes Park some time last year, well, since its cherry blossom you can probably guess it was spring. What made this different for me was the fact I adjusted the colours in the exact opposite way that I am used to. Pretty much all photos before this had whacked out contrast and would normally be pretty vibrant. But here, I tried a much more muted tone.
Shot on a 50mm at 1.4 and about as close as the lens would focus. I like it!
Looks like something you could buy on canvas at IKEA though.
